Volunteer Celebration Event

Celebrating Volunteers Week 2024 with our Volunteer Celebration Event

In light of Volunteers Week 2024 taking place in early June, we’re pleased to be holding a Volunteer Celebration Event on 29 June.

Since fewer in-person volunteer events have been possible since the pandemic, we are keen to create opportunities to bring as many of our volunteers as possible together. Find out more about the event and how to sign up below.

Date: Saturday the 29th June

Time: Arrival from 9.30am. Event from 10am – 2pm/ 3pm (depending of confirmation of afternoon activity)

Location: Free Legal Services Unit, Advocates Library, Parliament House, EH1 1RF

We are still finalising each session/ activity for the day but it will include:

  • 1hr training session giving some planning case law updates and looking at the intersection between planning and the law
  • Interactive workshop about volunteering within Planning Aid Scotland
  • Lunch/ networking
  • Chance to give us some ideas/ thoughts/ feedback
  • Hopefully a second session providing some interactive training

If you would like to come, please fill in this Microsoft Form – we need to know how many people to book lunch for!

If travel expenses would be a barrier to you coming to the event, please get in touch/put this in at the bottom of the form and we can see what we can do to make it possible for you to be there.
