Planning Aid Scotland will be joining the next Arran Community & Voluntary Service meeting to introduce the Island Communities Place Programme and explain how it can support people and organisations on the island.

Our Planning & Projects Officer Anne will join the meeting online to talk about how planning affects everyday life on Arran and explain how local people can get involved and have more of a say in decisions about the places where they live.

You don’t need to know anything about planning beforehand.

What is the Island Communities Place Programme?

The Island Communities Place Programme is a free programme for people and organisations across Scotland’s islands.

It is designed to make planning easier to understand and help island communities get involved in shaping their local places.

Planning Aid Scotland offers free webinars, training, resources and support through the programme.

We’re looking forward to meeting community organisations from across Arran, hearing about what matters locally and sharing how we can help.
