The Scottish Government introduced the Planning (Scotland) Bill to the Scottish Parliament in December. The Bill is now making its way through the parliamentary process with Stage 1 expected to be complete before the end of June.

The Bill will be scrutinized by the Local Government and Communities Committee. The Committee called for written evidence on the Bill. We have submitted evidence from PAS to the Committee, which you can read here.

The Scottish Parliament’s Finance and Constitution Committee is also scrutinizing the financial implications of the Planning Bill and the financial memorandum published along with the Bill. You can read the response from PAS here.
