PAS also has an international focus and over the last few years we have been working to expand our reach beyond Scotland through various programmes. We offer a number of opportunities to be part of cultural exchange programmes and volunteer placements.
We are currently active in the Baltic sea region as part of the Innovation Circle Network whose members are municipalities and organisations from Norway, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The project has received European funding which has allowed a number of exchange visits from Poland to Scotland and vice versa. These include a Polish Youth Exchange June 2014 and Scottish Youth Exchange November 2014.
This year we have been involved with another European Funded programme: Young Eyes Project – Suwalki Mirror Workshop 1, which again saw young people travel to Suwalki in Poland as part of a cultural exchange enabling co-operation.
