We are looking to recruit a Volunteer Co-ordinator (on a fixed-term contract until 31 October 2021) to co-ordinate volunteers to support PAS’s activities and to assist with general office support.
The Scottish Government provides funding for PAS to deliver a free advice service which gives communities and individuals access to information and advice on the Scottish planning system; and supports communities in development and place-based planning. Volunteers are key to delivery of this and other PAS services – e.g. community engagement events and training for elected members and community councils.
This is a part-time post, 4/5 full-time (28 hours). PAS provides a generous holiday entitlement (25 days + 10 public holidays + 3 days Christmas office closure; pro-rata for part-time), flexible working hours and an employer’s pension contribution of 8.5%. The salary will be £25,624.80, pro-rata for part-time £20,499.84.
PAS has an office in Edinburgh city centre (not fully accessible) although all staff are currently working from home. It is anticipated that future working arrangements will be a blend of home and office working.
PAS is an equal opportunities employer. Please contact us if you would like to discuss any additional support needs.
Please send your completed application and monitoring forms to Jenny Pendreigh firstname.lastname@example.org by 9am on Tuesday 4 May. Interviews will be held by Zoom on Thursday 6 May.
